DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES – X-RAY AND ULTRASOUND
We are delighted with our Siemens digital x-ray machine which has been in operation for 12 months. The x-ray is managed by the radiology unit at the West Suffolk Hospital.
We also have a state of the art ultrasound machine also managed by the West Suffolk Hospital.
We are able to accept referrals from neighbouring practitioners for both of these services.

Baby immumisation Practice nurses ~ Friday amAnte - Natal Clinic Doctor and midwife ~ Monday pm
Child Health surveillance (well baby) Doctors & Health visitor ~ Friday am
MINOR SURGERY
The doctors carry out minor surgical procedures and accident cases are dealt with at any time.
HEALTH PROMOTION CLINICS
We offer a full health promotion service with special clinics for asthma and diabetes.
CERVICAL SMEARS
These are normally taken every 3 or 5 years by the nurse of the doctor.
TETANUS
Please keep your tetanus immunisations up to date every 10 years as this is a high risk area.
OUT PATIENT SERVICES
UROLOGY
Jimmy Allen, consultant urologist and Kay Trabucchi, urology nurse practitioner at the West Suffolk Hospital, are continuing their monthly urology clinic. This is run during the afternoon of the first Thursday in the month for all urological problems, except rapid access cancer referrals. They are equipped with ultrasound and a urinary flow meter.
OPTHALMOLOGY
Andrew Ramsay, consultant ophthalmologist at the West Suffolk Hospital, continues his general ophthalmic clinic here, every 2 months. We have been really pleased with Andrew`s ophthalmic expertise of the last couple of years.
