Orves Centre

In 2003, the doctors at Botesdale Health Centre decided to buy the bungalow in The Drift, Botesdale, previously owned by Mim Coe, so as to allow for future expansion.

Shortly after the purchase, Dudley Orves bequeathed a significant sum of money to The Friends of Botesdale Health Centre in his will. After much deliberation is was decided to use this money to convert Mim's bungalow for complementary therapy, medical student training and health education. So far the doctors have achieved these goals and want to expand further.

Dudley Orves was a charming and gentle resident of Redgrave, living in the thatched cottage behind the green petrol pumps that used to stand in the village. Quiet and unassuming, Dudley was much loved by all the local people of Redgrave and Botesdale.

The doctors of Botesdale Health Centre are committed to a holistic vision of health care and embrace certain complementary therapies with enthusiasm.
