Letter to Patients

23 December 2021

Dear Patient

We are currently experiencing staff shortages due to COVID related absences.  All our staff are trying their best and working very hard to help you so please bear with us and we will assist you as soon as we can.

In order to minimise the risk of contracting the Omicron variant, we are reducing the footfall through our Reception area and are limiting the amount of patients in our waiting room, therefore, please only enter Reception if you have an appointment booked or if it is absolutely necessary. Please contact us via telephone to book an appointment or alternatively use our E-Consult service which you can find on our website.

We will also be reverting back to a triage system to reduce undiagnosed COVID cases coming into the Practice.  This means our Receptionist will book you a telephone appointment with a GP in the first instance, on speaking to you, our GP will decide whether to invite you in for a face-to-face consultation, if deemed clinically necessary.  Please wear a face covering when visiting the Surgery.

When arriving for appointments, please remain in your car if you have received a text from us to enable you to tell us you have arrived, alternatively please wait outside in your car until your appointment time and then come to Reception and book in.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times.
