Telephone System Upgrade 

We wish to inform patients that we are upgrading to a new telephone system on Wednesday 24th April.

Switchover will take place sometime after 10:00am.

We are advised that this will cause minimal disruption to our services.

The change will align us to NHS England’s Modern General Practice Access Model, which includes the adoption of cloud-based Digital Telephony.

When call queues are lengthy, patients will have the option to request a call back, whilst maintaining their place in the queue.

Furthermore, the new telephone system will enable us to analyse call trends which will provide better insights into patient demand and access that will help us plan and support improvements in the patient experience.
